On April 28, 2019, a group of volunteers registered with MY Clean Beach completed the task to collect more than 25 bags of trash, about 208.5 kgs of waste at Pantai Kelanang, Banting over a stretch of 400-meter beach. Thank you to Kuala Langat Municipal- Encik Rauf who supported our course and guided us where the trash needs to be disposed of. A big salutation and thank you to Encik Mohd Nor (pic below) from Morib who was a passer-by stopped his vehicle and helped us to dispose of the trash collected from the beach. He asked for no money and he said he is just doing his part in supporting for a good cause.
Every individual, every person at the beach can better the ocean’s ecosystem by playing their part in keeping the beaches clean. The process is simple, easy – YOU just need to pick up the trash. When another person sees, they will FOLLOW YOU.
