Active Citizen don’t wait around for change to happen, they drive the change themselves. Because change can happen through us, not just to us. Active Citizens is a social leadership programme that promotes intercultural dialogue and social responsibility as key leadership competencies in the 21st century.
It began in 2009, offering knowledge, skills, and experience to handle the community work globally. Active Citizens Malaysia is a program by the British Council powered by Social Enterprise Academy and Chamber of Social Entrepreneur Development Malaysia. MY Clean Beach will be among the 30 participants selected to be part of the Active Citizen Malaysia program. We are represented by 2 project team members.
Our aim is to learn and to take action on the issues we care about the most and to take on some global social challenges.
